Alessa Ferguson

Miss Thai Arizona for the period of 2024-2025

Alessa Ferguson has been selected as the Miss Thai Arizona for the period of 2024-2025. She was born in 2004, and is a second-generation Thai-American raised in Mesa, Arizona. As part of her commitment to promoting Thai culture, Alessa presents cultural dance performances, fashion shows, and educates the public about Thai culture. She is putting in a lot of effort when it comes to training in Thai traditional dance. Additionally, she models in a Thai calendar designed specifically to promote the beauty of Thai culture.

Among her accomplishments, she has collaborated with other Thai organizations, including the Thai-American Association of Arizona, the Thai Conservative Club, and others both locally and nationally. She graduated from Westwood High School with a GPA of 4.97. Currently, she is enrolled at the University of Arizona, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree. It is Alessa’s educational goal to obtain a graduate degree in psychology and to continue her education in medical school to pursue a career in psychiatry.

Thai American Association of Arizona

Volunteer work to educate, translate, and relay information to minorities in my community for events such as the 2019 Census, 2020 Voter Registration, and 2020-2021 Covid vaccine promotion. 

July 2021 – Ongoing

Academy of Asian Art Foundation

Represented the Thai community as a Thai Cultural Ambassador for Asian cultural events such as Arizona’s Asian Festival, OCA Past to Present Fashion Show, Maricopa Cultural Night Market to educate others through preforming, speaking, modelling, and dancing.
